cartoons

i just saw a commercial for a new Carebears movie and the villain is some sort of robot bear. what i'm wondering is what happened to the original Carebears? or what happened to Lambchop? didnt 'he or she sing 

"This is the song that never ends it goes on and on my friends, 

someone started singing it not knowing what it was, 

cause this is the song that never ends!" 

but yeah, what happened to the good ol' days?  i'm sure tons of people are wondering what happened to the flintstones, 

the jetsons, fraggle rock,  the muppet's show, and that dinosaur show where there was a baby dinosaur that always hit the papa dinosaur on the head. i'll probably end up buying complete seasons of my favorite cartoons of my childhood for when i'm sick or for when i have kids cause sure there is dora but nothing compares to the good ol' hand drawn cartoons those kicked ass!!
